CREW PROFILE

 

 

Captain Bryan Whitney holds a United States Coast Guard 1600 ton Masters' License.  Captain Bryan is a well known and respected member of the yachting community. Upon boarding "Maximus II", charter clients are sure to be pleased and charmed by his warm and engaging personality.

Bryan has over twenty years of yachting experience, ten of which he has spent cruising the Mexican Riviera.  He speaks fluent Spanish and has a working knowledge of the Latin American culture.  In addition, Bryan also spent twelve years, as a "Deadliest Catch" captain, fishing in Alaska's Bering Sea while involved with the commercial crabbing industry.  His experience ranged from the most junior position to his eventual qualification as a captain, responsible for vessels navigating the unpredictable waters of the area's fishing grounds.

Safety certifications and qualifications include fire-fighting, first aid, CPR and Survival Craft. 

Active guests aboard "Maximus II" will be delighted that Bryan is an all-around sportsman.  He is skilled in many athletic endeavors, including sailing, white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, water-skiing, fishing and wilderness survival. Not surprisingly, he has also flown airplanes.  "His zest for adventure and sports is his passion."

 

First Mate Brett Howard is from Gilbert, Arizona. Brett attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship.  He has been in the yachting business for four years, recently obtaining his one hundred ton captain's license.

Brett, like Captain Bryan is an avid sportsman, an especially gifted fisherman and water sports enthusiast. He has received numerous compliments from clients, both experienced and novice, for his personable support, guidance and instruction in the various aquatic activities available to guests aboard the vessel.   

 

Chef Damian Gramegna of Durban, South Africa comes from a family of restaurateurs which inspired a youthful passion for food and the art of preparing it.  He attended Warrick's Chef College in Hermanous, South Africa and gained a broad culinary knowledge from his assignments at numerous chalets in France and Austria as well as restaurants in London and Spain.

 

Stewardess Hollie Gramegna hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  After residing in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and Georgetown, Guyana, she arrived in America to study Fine Arts at UWF.  She continued her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, graduating with a degree in Fashion Design.  Her keen eye for detail and a passion for travel led to yachting six years ago.
